    FAQ

    About this tool

When it is useful to extract pages from PDF

Extracting pages helps you quickly send a client only the needed section of a contract, prepare appendices for a project, or select chapters from technical documentation. OKDOCS tool allows you to do this in a couple of clicks, without third-party software.

    Step-by-step workflow

    1. Upload a PDF and wait for page previews.
    2. Check the pages or ranges you need.
    3. Click "Extract pages" and download the new PDF.

    Use cases

    • Send a client only the approved part of a contract.
    • Create a separate document with appendices or acts.
    • Prepare a "clean" document for public publication.
    • Extract chapters from a textbook or manual.

    Speed tips

If the document is very large, use page search or number them in advance in the source editor. For scans, it is useful to first run the file through OCR so that previews display more clearly. After extraction, you can combine the result with other documents using the "Merge PDF" tool if needed.
